Our product pages say most people notice a difference in about two weeks. I want to explain where that number comes from, because "results in days" is the most common lie in this industry and I would rather tell you how to judge us.
What two weeks is actually measuring
The outer layer of your skin turns over on a cycle of roughly a month — longer as you get older. Two weeks is not that cycle finishing. It is long enough to tell the difference between a product your skin tolerates and one it does not, and long enough for the surface to look different if it is going to.
It is not long enough to judge anything about fine lines or tone. If a company promises you that in two weeks, they are counting on you not checking.
Before the two weeks: test it somewhere that isn't your face
Put a small amount on your inner forearm or behind your jaw, once a day, and leave it alone for several days before you put it anywhere that shows. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends about 7 to 10 days.
This is dull and almost nobody does it. The people who do are the ones who never have to throw out a half-used bottle.
How to actually tell if something is working
Take a photo on day one. Same spot, same light, no filter, ideally morning before anything goes on your face.
You will not notice gradual change in a mirror you look at every day. You will notice it in two photos side by side. And write down what you changed and when. Three weeks from now you will not remember whether the toner started before or after the thing that happened to your skin.
What to do at two weeks
Better or no change, no irritation: keep going. Give it the full cycle.
Actively worse — stinging, tightness, bumps that were not there: stop. Not "push through it." There is no purge you need to earn. Go back to whatever your skin was fine with and reintroduce one thing at a time.
Nothing at all after a full month: it is not for you. That is allowed, including with ours. We have a money-back guarantee precisely because I would rather refund you than have you use something that is not doing anything.
